Review: What a companion!!!!!!!!

I purchased an Alto LXI about a year back changing my Maruti 800. The reason behind my purchasing this car was 1. Maruti gave excellent after sales service last year. 2. most of the time I remain in the car alone so size doesnt matter. 3. Parking is a big problem in city , it takes small space. 4. Heard it is fuel economical.

The only doubt was as it is a 800 cc car how will be AC?

To my surprise, i got more than what I expected! Power steering and A/C is fabulous.I never turned my AC more than 2 points even in hottest summer. Engine never hiccuped! handling is superb! The service of Maruti is even better than before.

In city with the AC on i get a milage betewen 12 to 13 Km /liter. But in long drive in a so so road in summer with AC on with 4 persons in the car I got 19 km / litre!! more than what the company claim.

My brother-in-law owned Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi - BS III two years ago. According to him, this car is very good, affordable especially AC system rocks here. Power steering and Brakes does well. Looks is absolutely very nice. Ac is better than any other small car. This car gives a good mileage also. Price is also not expensive. He crossed more than 45000Km now. Earlier he had planned for Santro but took this bcoz of Mileage. Initially it was around 16-18 which has dropped to 14-16 with AC.

My wife likes this Car very much. While taking a decision for puchasing a car, she forced me to buy this car. We used to travel very long distances in this car which is owned by our family friend. While travelling on this car, we used to appreciate the performance of this car.

The fuel efficiency of this car is very good. We used to get 22 kmpl.

The one reason why people opt for Maruti car is the availability of service station. Inspite of being fond of bigger car small car becomes the automatic choice in a crowded city due to parking problems. Another benefit is the fuel efficiency as one has rightly said that a day will come when cars will be bought in cash and for fuel there will be easy monthly installments.

Maruti suzuki Alto LXi - BS III having all the above advantages, though from outside it seems to be constraint in space but it is sufficient for a four member family. 800 cc engine is a disadvantage but there is no problem with AC as it work efficiently without any problem in engine.

Overall Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi - BS III is a worth to purchase who can compromise with space inside on account of economy, value of price and reliability.

It has a nice and attractive look which certainly can match your status too. Thus Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi - BS III is a car which value your money and status both.
