| | The Chinese or the Oriental restaurant - Lemon Grass (the name itself suggests that it is a Chinese restaurant), in the star hotel Rain Tree in Alwarpet (why they chose that location is still a thing to wonder as they have another star hotel in the proximity).
You can enjoy the food while being pampered by the waiters. They help you out to choose the right dish according to your taste and are very obliging too.
You get both ala-carte and buffet during the lunch. The buffet is very reasonably priced at Rs. 350 (some other restaurants charge another Rs. 100 to Rs. 150 for lunch time buffet for the same spread). The choice includes two varities of soups, almost 4 different varities of salads, rice (typyical chinese style), noodles and vegetarian and non vegetarian and sea food side dishes. Of course vegetarian and non-veg dishes are kept in separate tables so we didnot find much problem.
The deserts are superb and they taste great. We prefered exclusive flavours like Litche ice cream. The most important aspect to be noted is, they have both smoking and non-smoking sections and we were happy to find ourselves a table in the nonsmokers area.
A best place to have business lunch as they serve hot drinks too.
