Day 1 Arrival at Paro airport
After arriving at the Paro airport of Bhutan (Alt: 2250 meters from sea level) move to the hotel and enjoy the evening. Stay overnight.Day 2 Paro Visit
After having breakfast, trip for a sightseeing tour to beautiful places like Paro Dzong, Dzong Museum and Kichu Lhakhang. Visit Taksang Monastery also known as Tiger's Nest. In the afternoon visit Chele La pass. Back to the hotel and stay overnight.Day3 Paro to Punakha (130 km, about 5 to 6 hours journey)
After having breakfast, move to Punakha (altitude: 1200 meters from sea level) by taxi. On roadside you can see the stalls and people selling seasonal fruits, vegetables etc. After crossing the river paro chhu and river Wang chhu you will reach the mountain pass Dochu La, which is situated at a height of 3140 meters. From this height you can see the Eastern Himalayan ranges, the colourful displays of Buddhist prayer flags, the 108 Chortens, Bhutan's highest peak- Gangkan Punsum (7541 meters from sea level),snow capped peaks such as Masagang, Tsendagang, Terigang. After arrival at Punakha , check in to hotel and in the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong. Back to the hotel and stay overnight.Day 4 Punakha Visit
After having breakfast, trip to Wanqdue Phodrang, the town Dzong and local market. Wanqdue Phodrang district is famous for bamboo products, slate and stone carvings. Back to Punakha and enjoy the evening by visiting Punakha town. Back to hotel and stay overnight.Day 5 Punakha to thimpu (70 km about 2-3 hours journey)
After having breakfast, move to Thimpu (2450 meters from sea level) the capital of Bhutan. After the arrival at Thimpu, check in to hotel. In the afternoon visit the National Library which is full of extensive collection of Buddhist Manuscripts, the institute for Zoria Chusum- commonly known as the painting school, the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum- fascinating with material culture and living traditions. Back to hotel and stay overnight.Day 6 Thimpu Visit
After breakfast, visit Takin Sanctuary, Buddha Dordenma and Changangkha Lhakhang. In the afternoon, visit the National Memorial Chorten, Paper factory, Handicrafts Emporium and Trashichhoedzong. Back to the hotel and stay overnight.Day7 Thimpu to Paro backward journy (70 km/ 2hours journey)
After breakfast , move to Paro town. On the way, visit Simtokha Dzong . After arrival at Paro, check –in to hotel and enjoy the afternoon by visiting Taksang Monastery or go to Paro local market . Stay overnight in the hotel.Day8 Departure
