Palace On Wheels - Railway Tour package

Palace On Wheels is an unique attraction by itself and it is like a journey with the royal family. the palace on Wheels takes you on a journey from Delhi to Agra and to Rajasthan. This palace on Wheels usually starts on a wednesday from Delhi and reach Delhi back the next wednesday. This is a 8 days and 7 nights trip holiday package through Delhi to Jaipur, jaisalmer, Jodhpur, sawai madhopur, Chittoorgarh, udaipur, Bharatpur, Agra and then back to Delhi.

Day 1 - The train leaves the Delhi cantonement Railway station at about 5.45 pm . You can get into the train and rest in the luxury train. Have dinner for the night and turn in for the night.

Day 2 - you will arrive at the city of jaipur in the morning to the greetings of elephants and musicians in a colourful procession. You can have lunch at Rambagh palace, tour the city of jaipur, see the Hawa mahal and the Amer Fort. Later return to the Palace on wheels and depart from Jaipur. Have dinner in the train and rest for the night.

Day 3 - Arrival at Jaisalmer at 6.15 hrs in the morning. You can see golden fort made of Sandstone, carved mansions, tour the majestic fort, havelis, go for camel rides on the sand dunes outside the city of jaisalmer and have dinner on the sand dunes under the starlit sky. Return to the Palace on Wheels to spend the night. Departure from jaisalmer at 23 00 hrs.

Day 4 - sees you at Jodhpur at about 8 00 hrs in the morning. You will visit grand Mehrangarh Fort, see the museum, palaces fortified rampartsYu can see the royal cenotaphs at Jaswant Thada. You can have lunch at the majestic Umaid BhavanPalace and then return to the Palace on Wheels . The departure from Jodhpur will be at 15.30 hrs in the afternoon, you can have dionner in the train and spend the night.

Day 5 - You will reach sawai Madhopur at about 4 00 hrs ealy in the morning. You will reach ranthambore , one of the best national wild life parks of India, enjoy the safari ride and see many animals including tigers, monkeysand deer. ranthambore Fort is another tourist destinationwhich should not be missed. You will return to the train and depart around 11 00 hrs.
Same day at 15 30 hjrs in the afternoon you will reach Chittorgarh to see the fort which had withstood many sieges through the ages . You can also visit the Victory tower and then return to the train. You can have dinner and then spend the night. . The train departs from Chittorgarh at about 22 30 hrs.

Day 6 - The train will reach Udaipur at about 15 30 hrs in the afternoon, you can tour the palaces, forts and temples of Udaipur, then have lunch at the lake Palace Hotel. You can see the splendid City Palace of the King Of Mewar and later return to the train, have dinner and stay the night. The train departs 20 00 hrs.

Day 7 - You will reach Bharatpur at about 6 00 hrs in the morning , visit Keoladeo Ghana Bird sanctuary which is a Unesco world Heritage site. You can see varieties of birds including rare ones as well as migratory birds. Return to the train and depart at about 11 45 hrs.
The same day you will reach Agra in the afternoon at about 14 30 hrs. You will visit Fatehpir sikri, have lunch at the hotel in Agra and visit taj mahal.. You will depart from Agra in the night around 23 00 hrs .

Day 8 will see you reaching back in Delhi at the Delhi Cantonement station at about 6 00 hrs in the morning with unforgettable memories of the trip on Palace on Wheels.
