This movie was perhaps the inception of all the Maya created animations till date. The characters in this movie was based on the fictional and legendary Viking character Beowulf which is very popular in Europe and North America.The best part of this movie was the song when a hero comes home which was sung really nice by Idina Menzel. I watched this movie on its first release only. My husband & I, went to the Waves, to watch this movie. There was too rush and we got the tickets luckily. The movie starting was very interesting...I was just waiting to see Angelina Jolie who played Grendel's mother...She was looking amazing in her character, very wild, very sexy and very hot but a true mother. I recently saw this movie on DVD and I really cursing myself for able to see this movie on cinema. Characters and picturisation and storyline, everything is just cool.
The plot was tight and well scripted, the voice acting was great (Ray Winstone rocks), the action was breathtaking, some of the CGI was unbelievably gorgeous and the music and incidental sound was great!
I really advice to watch this movie.

Movie has awesome animation. Movie has good twists and stunts. You can recognize Angelina's voice for Grendel's mother. Some of the moments are breath-taking. I like the climax also. Every aspects has been taken care in movie. If you are fan of fantasy stories then it is best movie to watch. |
