Good: Fuel efficient, catchy look
Bad: Space contrains for larger family
The one reason why people opt for Maruti car is the availability of service station. Inspite of being fond of bigger car small car becomes the automatic choice in a crowded city due to parking problems. Another benefit is the fuel efficiency as one has rightly said that a day will come when cars will be bought in cash and for fuel there will be easy monthly installments.

Good: Price, fuel economy, handling, AC
Bad: Space crunch. steering is placed in such a way driver has to monouvere while sitting.
I purchased an Alto LXI about a year back changing my Maruti 800. The reason behind my purchasing this car was 1. Maruti gave excellent after sales service last year. 2. most of the time I remain in the car alone so size doesnt matter. 3. Parking is a big problem in city , it takes small space. 4. Heard it is fuel economical.
The only doubt was as it is a 800 cc car how will be AC?
To my surprise, i got more than what I expected! Power steering and A/C is fabulous.I never turned my AC more than 2 ...

Good: Fuel efficiency.
Bad: Engine Capacity is only 800 CC
My wife likes this Car very much. While taking a decision for puchasing a car, she forced me to buy this car. We used to travel very long distances in this car which is owned by our family friend. While travelling on this car, we used to appreciate the performance of this car.
The fuel efficiency of this car is very good. We used to get 22 kmpl. |

Bad: I think interiors could be more better
My brother-in-law owned Maruti Suzuki Alto LXi - BS III two years ago. According to him, this car is very good, affordable especially AC system rocks here. Power steering and Brakes does well. Looks is absolutely very nice. Ac is better than any other small car. This car gives a good mileage also. Price is also not expensive. He crossed more than 45000Km now. Earlier he had planned for Santro but took this bcoz of Mileage. Initially it was around 16-18 which has dropped to 14-16 with AC. |
