Good: EASE of use, RAID support, saving of resuts
Bad: Useless in Demo mode

Its free to download and install and it wont nag you to register. Having said that it is almost useless if you dont pay for the license. It will allow you to recover only files of length < 64 KB and preview deleted photos. Most of your documents have size greater than this limit. The free version of this software can only be used for evaluation. Many features (apart from searching and creation of disk images) are disabled in demo mode.

This software is really cool. I had been surfing on net to retrieve my deleted files, since I had used Shift+delete I could not get trace of them. Finally File Scavenger helped to trace them. I had used other software too but this one has good GUI and navigation. It supports sector level tracing and that is more important. I have faced the license issue but you will get registration details on internet just surf more about registration. If you face such situation then try this software.
