iPod Classic 160 GB Silver Review Yes, Apple strikes back with the new iPod classic. The name classic suggests that it is a product for long time iPod followers which means the people who are the fans of oPod for a long time. Its design reflects the same. Same old design with minor touch-ups at the end.
The iPod classic supports various video formats like H.264, MPEG4, MOV, MP4 with a maximum resolution of 640x480 and upto 30 FPS (frames per second) videos. Subtitles can be turned on or off as you wish unlike the older iPod classics. You can use it as a simple USB storage device if you wish.
But from the performance point of view it is hard to beat iPod classic, either by music quality or its storage capacity. Music quality is so good and it rocks. The price is also competetive than some of emerging Portable Media Players including iPod itself (iPod Touch).
