Review: Logitech X-240

I own the Logitech X-240 right now. It is a very good speaker and I am really satisfied with this product. The performance of this speaker is very good and at par with the best in the 2.1 category dominated mostly by Bose and Altec Lansing. It is basically an upgrade to the popular X-230 except a few design improvements and an extra iPod cradle which is surely my favorite.

The speakers clarity is the best and attracts looks from nearby places. The speaker is very good for usage upto 60% of the volume level after which the sound tends to get distorted. The bass is quite good but lacks punch in some areas. The area where it scores high is the ragas and the instrumental songs hearing to which is like bliss. The rock and the pop sector gets it sweating a bit where it fails a bit in the bass otherwise every sound frequency is very nice to hear.

A very nifty addition to this set is an iPod cradle. You can put any MP3 Player n the cradle and just play it from there. No use of PCs for listening to music. It also has an adapter for the charging of the iPod while playing music through the speaker.

Another problem is that the lack of service centres all over India becomes a major hindrance in buying it. Very few service centres of Logitech is present in India and the servicing takes a minimum of 5-10 days depending on the problem.

All in all, it truly deserves a rating of 8.5/10. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Are you looking for some great computer speakers but are on a tight budget? If this sound like you then you may want to consider getting Logitech computer speakers x240. In the below article we are going to take a look at the Logitech computer speakers x240 and its features.

Many speakers that you will find on the market today can cost up to 300 - 400 bucks to get some great sound. It seems like you need to pay an arm and a leg to get some good sound in your ears! Thankfully Logitech had the consumer in mind when they started the process of making this speaker and then during pricing as well. I say one of the pros of this speaker is that you are able to get good sound quality without breaking the bank... if you are like me then this is something that is very important.

The control pod allows you to have volume, power, and your headphone jack right at your fingertips. When you are trying to relax and have fun in your own home with a little music convenience is what it is all about. The control pod also doubles for an ipod holder. All you have to do is slide out the cradle on the control pod to charge, sync and or play your digital music player.

The speaker system also has a great design. I love the sleek look that they have and they easily go with just about any look that you may have going on in your computer room. If its sleek and conservative - they fit in... if its wild and crazy - just add stickers!
