It is a best system for audio savvy. This system can play audio tape, CD, DVD, USB device and AM-FM tuner with excellent sound quality.
I bought a Sony MHC-GZR5D before Deepavali, 2010. I had a large collection of very good old tamil and hindi song audio cassettes which I wanted to convert into MP3. When I was studying the features of Sony MHC-GZR5D, immediately I thought it is the best buy for me because this system can play audio tapes (analog audio) as well as convert the songs into MP3 using USB memory card. Apart from audio tapes, you can record CD/am/fm programmes and also you have audio-in facility to record from external audio sources.
Sound quality of the USB recording is very good.
This system has a protection feature against voltage fluctuations.
The sound quality is exciting and powerful with selection of ROCK/MP3 SURROUND/HIP-HOP/POP/TECHNO/JAZZ/FLAT etc.
Minus/negative points about this system is that
1. It not compatible for DivX
2. A pair of Bass reflect holes in front of the speaker may allow entry of cochroaches, small lizards or insects to get into speaker box and likely to damage the speaker.
