Since i bought this product about 6 months ago, i have had it break down permanently twice. The first time around, after 10 minutes of continuous use, the plastic under the jars had apparently melted and had to replaced. This was achieved by numerous trips to the service centre - no easy feat for a working person in a traffic-challenged city like Bangalore. The second time around was a few days back. Apparently 10 dry red chillis and a tablespoon full of coriander seeds overloads the small dry grinding jar. The motor emanated a terrible noise and smoke crept out of the main body of the mixie. When it was taken to the service centre today, the technician claims this is no big deal. - happens all the time! Please, if you value peace in your kitchen, stay away from this product!
