Nokia 1600 Review An entry level phone which is very light in weight. It is very stylish and compact in size. As the keypad is well designed with well placed keys, it is easy to use. The 4 way scroll key allows the user to go through the menu with ease.
This phone is also quite similar to Nokia 1100 in most of the specifications. But the difference is that the screen is colour screen. The phone is enriched with a talking alarm and clock which could be set to English, Tamil, Hindi, Gujarathi, Marati and also Bengali. With English compulsory any of the other two languages can be set in the phone.
The phone is enabled with polyphonic and mp3 ring and sound tones. But still the quality of those ringtones are not that impressive. The phone book can be grouped iconwise and it could store upto 20 contacts. The phone allows picture messaging. The demo how to use this phone could be viewed even without having a sim inside the phone.
The battery life of the phone is quite ok for such a basic model phone. It gives up to 5 1/2 hours of talk time.
With no extra features this phone is very useful for those who wish to have a basic model colour phone.
