Nokia N9 Review
Nokia have come up with a new model with a highly capable touch screen. A 3G smartphone which allows the user to have outstanding internet features and great sound. The latest of the N Series from Nokia, the N9 is slimmer in design though it is bigger in size. The casing of Nokia N9 comes with interchangeable cases in attractive colours of cyan, magenta and black.
The display of the screen is 3.9 inches which is crystal clear and is enabled with antiglare component to give a high colour viewing option. This enhanced feature helps in playing games like Angry Birds which needs enhanced display clarity. Also the screen enables clear view of the videos and photos taken using the 8 MP camera that comes with the phone. Nokia has put a swiping software which allows the users to get out of any application with just a single swipe.
Nokia N9 comes with a memory capacity of 1GB Ram with 16 or 64GB memory capacity. The phone runs on MeeGo operating system and in future might support Windows Mango. The device is capable of handling both 2G and 3G connectivity. Can be connected to internet using both 3G and also using the WiFi as this device is enabled with the same. Apart from this the phone can connect with compatible devices via Bluetooth or USB. Users can enjoy multipage browsing capacity and is also RSS and social network website compatible which allows the users to stay in touch with their friends with great ease.
For communication with contacts, Nokia N9 supports texting, multimedia, Instant Messaging and Email and all these controlled by one touch of the screen. One can make use of the virtual QWERTY keyboard which gets displayed whenever needed. One can enable connectivity to email accounts like Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, Gmail etc. Documents attached to mails can be viewed.
Nokia N9 comes with a 8MP caqmera with Carl Zeiss lens which enables high quality photo and video taking option. users can share the photos and videos directly to Flickr, Facebook or Youtube. The camera comes with photo editing option and red eye reduction. The videos can be recorded in HD quality.
The music player of Nokia N9 comes with an integrted music player which comes with easy to use controls and settings. A fully charged battery provides 50 full hours of non-stop music. One can experience Dolby surround quality sound with either the Dolby headphones or speakers.
The Ovi maps application offers free navigation world wide with both pedestrian or car navigation instructions. The phone gives a talk time of 11 hours of talk time while in GSM and 7 hours while using 3G network.
Nokia N9 does not support flash support. For such a featured smart phone the camera is of less MegaPixel. There is no extra memory card.
