TRANSCEND T Photo 710 Review
Not getting anything to hang on the wall? You surely have tried so many things to hang on your wall but your wall still gives you the same old bland look, isnt it? Well not any more. Transcends here to save us from the boring wall.
Transcend has introduced a new digital photo frame to the market and it surely impresses everyone. Many photo frames had been introduced in the past 3 months but I must say none of them looks as beautiful as this one. The build quality is sure to impress the person who lays his hands on this beauty. The outer portion is made of brushed metal and the rear is finished with some good quality matte! Surely one gorgeous model to attract glances immediately. Build quality in one word - superb! I am impressed by it. It is also quite light-weight and customer pocket friendly(I mean the price) as compared to its features.
Features galore in this one. It has support for SD, SDHC, MMC, MS, CF cards directly and miniSD, microSD, MS Duo, MS Pro Duo, M2 with adapters. Wow! This is sure to impress ones with more than one cameras or video recorders with different card formats. It also has a landscape and portrait modes for different photos. The best part is that you can use it as an MP3 player also. Although the sound quality is not what you would expect to be but it does a good job of producing some good music through its speakers. It supports MP3, WMA and WAV music files. That is what I call true portability. It also possesses weapons like picture clock, alarm, and calendar with scheduling and built-in stereo speakers and headphone jack in its repository. Sure to make one drool over this.
The photos were coming out stunning. The photo had all its natural colors and contrasts and its original clarity. The only thing that bugged me was the low resolution. With an amazing TFT, I wonder why the people at Transcend kept the resolution at a measly 480 x 234. An increase would have made it perfect. Picture modes are awesome and you have slideshow, thumbnail, and photo-view modes all excellent in their functionality to offer. The remote is also pretty good to handle with well raised and easily distinguishable buttons. The seasonal frame themes (Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, etc.) is my personal favorite I have to say.
It has got all types of connectivity through multimedia card reader and the hi-speed USB 2.0 for USB flash drives and connecting to a PC but I feel that a glaring omission made is the lack of Wi-Fi or even Bluetooth. These are current modes of data transfer and it would have been really nice to have it.
Overall, this deserves a rating of 8.5/10. It could have secured 10 but the lack of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and a high-resolution screen are some glaring omissions. But I would say this product is ideal and I would recommend it to everyone.
FINALLY, THE WALL SEEMS MUCH LESS BORING AS IT SHOWS ME PICTURES AND PLAYS MUSIC. AMAZING ISNT IT!
