Samsung galaxy pro Review Nokia made an creative attempt with their x3 touch and type, why not Samsung?. Recently Samsung brought out their samsung galaxy pro. Android big boss of X3 Samsung galaxy pro is a smartphone with qwerty and touch screen. Samsung made the galaxy pro with features like Think free office application and touch wiz 3.0 user interface at a mid range price. Connectivity options and powerful 800Mhz processor were the other important features of the phone. QWERTY and touch-hmmm…
Design and external appearance of the device is good (I am a lover of simple, plain and user friendly designs!).A perfect slim sleek design for ‘work and play' phone. Samsung scores in the area where x3 failed – touch screen with small screen. Even though screen size is 2.8" in galaxy pro QWERTY keypad wont make us feel the typing difficulty in a small screen. Touch effect is ok and keypads are made out of quality. No fear that you will get a ‘w' if want a ‘s' ( spacing between keys are excellent.). Apart from the appearance button and slot configuration is also fine. Small difference is made in pro's home screen(but these are customizable) from the other android mobiles of Samsung – normal horizontal basic access panel is arranged vertically at the right end of the screen. You can quite happy messaging (even though Samsungs argues you can have good documents made in the phone, it still looks tiresome!)times with galaxy (messaging in QWERTY is always the best!).Connectivity options is ditto to what Samsung ahd earlier announced. Options including quad-band GSM, dual-band 3G, Wi-Fi, improved Bluetooth, GPS, completes the connectivity needs of the user. Rest you have the features of android froyo2,2 – simply the android freedom. Along with the 800 MHz processing speed music options in the phone is also worth mentioning.- Speaker clarity and loudness is pretty nice.Battery is one of the other most prominent positives of the phone – he can give energy to one to one and half days comfortably.
You cannot have real touch experience (It is quite obvious if you mix touch with normal keypads touch options will be limited, I see no point in making futher phones of these genre from my experience with Nokia x3 and galaxy pro).3 mp autofocus camera has its own limitations – clarity of image for camera and video recording are only average. As the size of the screen is small it is not ideal for watching videos. Same resolution problem questions the liberty for smooth browsing experience (such a situation in a phone with good connectivity options and smart 800 MHz processor is a big blow.)
Price wise apart from its tag as a playful business phone Samsung galaxy pro is a good messaging phone. QWERTY cum keypad is not such a great experience to have with, But still this 12k phone is worth trying.
