MicroMax Andro A60 Review ‘Micromax' and ‘surprise' are quite synonymous terms among mobile phone lovers. I am an admirer of Micromax's micro surprise box – Mobile phones of a different genre loaded with tons of creativity and cost reducing features. Have you ever visited their website? – it also something like ther freaky funky mobile phones(it will be a good exercise to guess the cost of the website-I am sure that you will come with a 4k or 5k excess than the micromax verdict of the same!)
Touch-Smart-Android mobile phone for Rs 6990 Hats off to micromax andro. If I keep this price in my mind and write a review Mr.Andro it is just a simple word “perfect". But I won't do it here – let us have a critical analysis of the smart phone from micromax with the big android phones available in the market. Micromax have made a good attempt to provide their phone a appealing physical appearance.Eventhough it is designed in an unorthodox way (wider at his head with a thin bottom!) phone is still youthful. I felt it perfect in my hands due to its light small body. Three touch sensitive buttons apart from the 2 usual smart phone buttons can give a better access to the applications and features of the phone.Micromax have tried (I repeat micromax only tried!) to incorporate SWYPE feature for the ease of inputting text. What rocks in this cute little phone is its superb IQ and Battery -600 MHZ processor gives a good speed and multitasking to a great extent. Low Priced, but still the phone is android – connectivity options like Bluetooth, HSPDA, WIFI, and GPS all works good. Android 2.1 with noteworthy preinstalled applications by micromax makes andro almost complete in itself. With 150 mb internal memory you have all your favorite applications from the android market. Camera and music player is average. As mentioned earlier andro's battery have shown stamina to go smooth for 1-2 days(even 3).I think presently no android phone other then Micromax Andro below 12k can give this much battery back up. Basic mobile features like calling , messaging all works without any fault.
Money constrain have made micromax compromise on various features of the phone. First of all the plastic look of the phone denies andro a royal touch (But this plastic have really contributed to the reduced price tag of the phone).Another major defect is the resistive touch employed in the phone – after all touch should an ‘touch', at times this resistive touch may turn out as an irritation. It is afact that the SWYPE and touch effaect of micromax andro is below par.Andro's camera eye and video recording is severly limited ( don't think that you can substitute your personal camera)
My verdict :Micromax ANDRO is the best phone for its price tag( no doubt phone delivers much more than 7K). If you want to experience the android effect and can adjust with certain features then go for it.(Micromax said it correctly, “Not the best , but your first android phone").
