Flame & Grill Review
Flame & Grill has introduced a complete new concept to Kolkata. The specialty of this restaurant is that the Kebabs are served on an open grill in the center of every table. The restaurant is quite big, around 96 sitters. The total area of the restaurant must be nothing less than 3000 square feet. The interiors are really sober and rustic. A rustic touch is added to the furniture of this restaurant giving it a medieval look.
Unlimited servings are offered of around 3 Kebab varieties. This could be both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Buffet are served here too. The restaurant is crowded most of the time.
The buffet has a good serving of vegetables, chicken, biryani, dal and of course salads, papad and raita. Indian Breads including roti, rumali roti and kulchas are served alongside. Indian desserts also make a round in the buffet. The food is more than average, not over the top though. I would give it just 2 out of 5 stars, 2 for its service and the new concept which is the only unique feature of this restaurant.
