Motorola's new Clamshell style Motorola MOTO U9 mobile phone is a quad-band GSM mobile phone featuring 256K colors 2.0-inch QVGA display along with a secondary external display, a 2.0 MP digital camera with video recording, Windows Media player 11 and microSD expandable memory slot.
The new Motorola MOTO U9, is a quad-band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network ready slider-up type design mobile phone sports a high class metalic gloss finish combined with soft steel feel, and it features a large internal 2.0 inch 240 x 320 pixels wide colour CSTN QVGA display capable of displaying 256K colors and a secondary 1.45-inch 128 x 160 pixels resolution border-less OLED (organic light emiting diodes) external display capable of displaying 65K colors.
Touch Sensitive music function keys appear on borderless external OLED color display when the phone is turned into the music mode allowing quick access to all the music functions.

Weighing mere 87 grams, the new Motorola MOTO U9 mobile phone comes with 25-MB of internal storage which allows storage of up to 1000 phone numbers and 500 SMS messages. The handset also supports expandable memory allowing microSD/MMC memory card with upto 4-GB storage space.
Digital Camera: The multimedia Motorola MOTO U9 mobile phone also features powerful 2.0 Megapixels resolution digital camera with maximum of 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution allowing 8X Digital Zoom, Multi-shot function, Brightness Adjustment, and White Balance features.
