Raaga, Indra Nagar, Banglore Review Last time when we visited Banglore, my brother took us all to Raaga in CMH road. His house is just walkable distance from that restaurant and we had fun walking to that place. I was a bit apprehensive at first as he told me that it is a multicusine restaurant and it serves both veg and non-veg. But both my brother and his wife were in full praises for this place and they have hosted their official parties and dinners in this place quite a few times.
Though at first when I was not so impressed by the entrace and the narrow stairway that leaded to it, the decor inside is very amazing. The entire restaurant is spread over three floors, ground first and second. Though they serve hot drinks in the first floor, the second is exclusive a bar restaurant and it is a smokers zone too. I had longed for a candle light dinner and it came true in this restaurant. Every table is lit only by the lights of the candle and the light is enough to read the menu to find the dishes in your platter. Though there is no light right above your table, there are lights in the ceiling that gives you extra lighting. Once you get adjusted to the lighting, you can see the beautiful wooden carvings, metal wall hangings, clothes with Rajasthani designs all over the wall. All this are in the first floor of the restaurant.
Loved all the vegetarian dishes that was ordered by my brother, as I didnot know much about this place. He chose the right dishes for me and my kids. They too really enjoyed the soups, starters. They favoured the Rumali Roti and Paneer Kofta. The waiters are very courteous and the service is really very fast than expected.
A best and decent place for business talks, a great place for family parties and leisure outing. If you are coming by car make sure you park your car in a decent place and walk to this restaurant, the front of this restaurant have parking space only for two wheelers.
