This camera is an entry level compact which is not only stylish but worth buyingfor its unique features. There is an increasing demand for the compact sets, that, Nikon has brought out one in its S series. The compact has packed a Time lapse Movie mode, 15 scene modes and in camera editing tools and it seems to be more than a good looking compact. This S210 is a 8mp camera, with electronic VR ( image stabilisation ) helps you especially while you take pictures in the low light conditions and also in motion. it has got a 3x optical zoom which allows you to use a 35mm or a 38-14mm range and has an option of increasing the light sensitivity by boosting the ISO up to 2000. The new function in this set worth looking into is the Time Lapse Movie mode where the camera takes pictures at intervals and collates them as a movie. There is a face priority an AF mode which can automatically detect about 12 faces in a frame to give you sharp and correct focus and exposure. there is a multiple shot facility which helps you to shoot at least 16 photographs at a stretch and lets you to record different facial expressions of a single person or a moving object.Since you have image editing tools in the camera you can easily edit the pictures as you take them, which will be useful when you are video recording a marriage or a function. This S210 is a very user friendly camera, you can just browse through the manual and learn the ways to handle the camera.
