Free Download Manager Review
This is must have software if you are connected to the internet. Apart from its main functions, the other features provided are pretty helpful as well. It is free and does not display any ads, neither do you have to register it. It is very easy to use once you start using it, you would not require any other such program.
The good:
Here I would only talk about the additional features that this program provides. Its main functions viz resuming of broken downloads, connection management are standard which you would find in any download manager.
1) Flash video Downloader: Allows you to directly download videos from popular video sharing sites (Youtube, Google Video etc)directly. Basically any video sharing site which uses flash will be supported.
2) Portable
3) Free and Lightweight
4) Easy to use
5) Scheduler: Simply put, you can automate the task of starting your download at a specified time (during off peak hours for example), you can also shutdown your computer at a specified time.
6) Bitorrent Support: One Less program on your system to manage downloading of torrent files.
7) Site Explorer: Explore folder contents on remote server.
8) HTML Spider: Download entire web pages on your hard drive.
9) Site Manager: Shows connections to websites to which FDM is connected.
