Comodo Personal Firewall Review Here is a firewall that is very serious about your computer security, many a times even more serious than the user wants it to be.
The Good: 1) A very stringent firewall provided you take your time with it and onfigure it accordingly. 2) Free 3) Active connection window in which you can terminate any currently active connection. 4) A very stringent program monitoring tool which asks you to authorize every action that a program makes. (this is also its minus point which we shall soon see). 5) Export / Import of settings: no need to reconfigure if you have reinstalled it. 6) Extreme configurability which allows even an advanced user to create a detailed set of rules.
The bad: 1) Nags a lot: My personal experience has shown me that on an average it asks about 8-10 questions about each program, once every time it detects a new program - be it games, or your simple text editor. This is a frustrating experience for some, however if you are read to give that much time to this software, the time spent is well worth it.
I would definitely recommend it. A firewall is a must have, if you connect to the internet.
