I have been using IFB washing machine for the last 15 years. When the first machines they were made of steel and so rusting was the only problem I faced.
I had to change the cover twice because of this problem but I was very happy with the way my clothes are turning up after wash. Now I have got the fibre cover I do not have that rust problem also.
Tumble wash and fron loading. How I love them. It is so gentle on clothes and I have not had a tear on any of my delicates.
As in every appliance regular cleaning up is essential. The Service people come regularly or when you need them. I have a maintenance contract with them. So I do not have a problem in that direction.
I do not know much about the present Brands but I can tell you one thing. IFB is a brand you can always count on. My daughter when she got married , bought the same IFB washing machine and she seems happy with the product even now .
