The Thinkpad T520 provides a solid notebook with good application performance and good mobility qualities for business clients. It is definitely to be placed in the office or business in view of performance. Yet, its not suitable for CAD applications despite the dedicated graphics card. At first glance it doesnt look like much has changed in terms of the design of the ThinkPad T520. Lenovo has the same black rubbery paint covering the boxy shell of a body, with large stainless steel hinges displayed on both sides.
Value shouldnt be placed as high in a business device as in a multimedia or gaming laptop. The maximum volume is just adequate for indoors and the sound remains accurate. However, the sound quality has poor bass.
Another weak point the weight of the laptop is slightly heavy Overall the laptop gives great performance, good durability and excellent value.
