Sahib Sindh Sultan, Banjara Hills Review This is one restaurant that have a real great ambience which any one will not wish to miss. A restaurant from the BJN group. Stepping into the restaurant one will feel that they have stepped into a railway platform. The restaurant is named after the first three Indian Engines, Sahib, Sindh and Sultan. Once inside, you need to step into a train carriage where you will be seated to be served by the waiters dressed like railway employees, ticket collectors, engine drivers and even porters. The entire ambience is designed to give a feel of the British Railways. The platform is decked with an old style telephone and a railway map of that era. Even the carriage is rested on a track with pebbles and wooden sleepers. A peep above the carriage gives us glimpse of the stars (ofcourse painted on the ceiling), and inside the carriage, one can find small fans, luggage racks with suitcases and hats. The entire restaurant takes us back to 1850s and it is a real new experience for both kids and adults. While having your food, you will be surprised to hear the announcements of the arrival and departure of trains and the bell sound by the station master to signal the departure of train.
This is again a veg cum non-veg restaurant. The food is sumptous with large portions, so a group of people can share it with comfort and is very tasty and is served in a silver tray. What ever you order, be it the starters or the main course it is highly delicious that you will definitely clean the plate. The food is normally spiced and the rotis and parathas were soft.
Apart from the Salarjung Museum, this is another place where you should take the kids if you are vising hyderabad
