| | The access to this restaurant is just the way the name suggests! Well not really ugly but inaccessible. But this food joint serves some amazing Scandinavian cuisine, very rare for India. The name is been inspired from some fairy tale, but the restaurant is not ugly at all. The interior s of the restaurant is a contemporary, mostly wooden.
Dark wooden furniture is placed amidst dim lights which make it look fantastic. The décor overall is simple and sober. There are Italian posters displayed everywhere in the restaurant.
European food dominates the menu list of Ugly Duckling. Few of the must try dishes include Creamy Asparagus soup, Caesar Salad and the Greek Village Salad. The restaurant offers wide range of pastas and sandwiches for the office crowd who throng this place during lunch hours. The dessert list is appealing too with Chocolate Mousse topping the list. The recipes are just delicious and the food is cooked to perfection. Definitely calls for a second visit.
Additionally if I have to rate this restaurant then I would give it 3 out of 5.
