BlackBerry Torch 9800 is a compact and stylishly designed Smartphone with touch screen, that comes with a slide opening casing. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 comes with a powerful processor with a Blackberry 6 operating system. The main features of the Blackberry mobile has user friendly input methods like a slide out QWERTY keyboard and its touch screen, a usable pinch to zoom touch screen controls, a fun Internet experience with multiple Web page browsing plus for entertainment, you have loads of music which can be downloaded from the net.
The casing for the Blackberry Torch 9800 comes in a grey coloured casing with silver colored accents around the edges. When you consider the features are for the Smartphone the dimensions are small and compact measuring about 11.1cm x 6.2cm x 1.46cm when the slide part is closed and get extended to 1.48cm tall when the slide is opened.

The Blackberry Torch has a 3G HSDPA technology which means it will work over 3G networks as well as GSM networks, providing the fast connections as you need. Up to 5.5 hours of talk time can be gained from a fully charged battery if you are using in the GSM mode and 5.8 hours of talk time can be gained over 3G HSDPA mode. You can get connected to the nearest wifi terminal at a wifi hub, wifi hotspot as well as through the Bluetooth wireless technology & USB connectivity to share your files and pictures with other compatible phones. You can also access the GPS Navigation feature while you are travelling from place to place which will give you step by step instructions on how to reach your desired location..
There is 512 megabytes of internal memory plus a memory card option which can hold up to 32 GB of external memory. The Blackberry handset comes with a 4 gigabytes memory card to get you started on these features.
