Letters From a Father to his Daughter, is one of the best books I have come across. The book is a collection of letters written by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to his daughter Smt. Indira Gandhi(then Indira Priyadarshini), when she was ten years old. Indira had gone for vacations in Missouri without her father, as he was busy with work in Allahabad. That was the time when these series of letters to her. The letters spoke about many things which she would enjoy reading. It spoke about the universe as a whole, the human beings and about the growth of civilizations all over the world. This letter was written in the year 1928 and later on went to get published as a memoir from a father to his daughter.
