Ajnabi Mithai Ghar Review Sev, Bhel, Pani puri, dahi puri, samosa channa, aloo tikki, sandwiches, the list goes on. Ajnabi Mithai Ghar, a quaint looking chaat shop located at Fountain Plaza, Egmore is no new place for chaat lovers...
Always buzzing with this crowd, it may not look very appetising but the place does have a whole lot of "chatpata" khana that can make you want to consider visiting this place often.
watching the way your sev puri is made either spicy or sour, the garnish on it and the chutneys to be added, make it quite interesting. Personally i get them to make a dieter bhel with no aloo, no puri and no sev, well, its still tasty and healthy If you are a samosa fan, do try their samosas. The pav bhaji can be enticing. The veggie sandwich takes a while to make(they use the grills that were used a few years back), but it can easily compensate the delay with its taste. The lassi is equally inviting
The array of mixtures and short eats can surely find their way into your shelves, if you like to munch on snacks when you watching a late night flick on TV.
few of the sweets taste good- Rasmalai tops the list
Easy on the pocket, this place is good for those who prefer to stand, eat and then get going. This place is not ideal for killing time like a coffee shop....
Any of the chaat will cost between Rs 25- Rs 45
