Digha is a beach site, and the tourist travelling there usually goes to the new Digha beach which is clean to take bath, but when it comes to fooding, Old Digha is much more better.
Sea Wead restaurent is the one where we went for lunch seeing the restaurent labelled as Air conditioned which we were terribly searching due to intense heat. At Sea Wead restaurent the first impression was good as the bearer came along with borosil glasses to serve water which is least expected in a restaurent for mass. We were in mood for Indian food and we ordered Rice with dal tarka with fish and a chicken biryani.
The service was not of very high class but the waiting period was not much and this is the main requirement at a tourist spot as the fooding becomes a secondary because tourists use to have snacks intermittently at the beach.
The taste of food was really good and all other demerits were sidelined when we started having our food. There were very limited varieties but what we have ordered was delicious completely fulfilling our desires and hopes.
Fish curry was a real taste and so was the chicken biryani. The cost was just high and for middle class family, restaurent Sea Wead is a proper place for eating out.
