Review: Alchemist - the book for success

I read this book. I really surprised, while reading at the beginning I was just holding a book and reading and slowly it made me holding and completed with full excitement.

The boy, started his journey by leaving his place and started roaming in and around Spain for learning about the world / people. He wanted to become rich. He is very patient and task oriented.

He faced many challenges, troubles but finally succeeded.

I love reading books on different topics. Also read many books on positive thinking, achieving life's goals but this one was really mesmerizing. One of my friends recommended me. Its been almost a year, I read this book. But I would definitely tell you while reading you don't feel anytime that it is boring at all. Page by page it increases your curiosity about knowing whether the boy succeeds in his search of treasure. Everyone really need a guide to help him / her in his / her search of treasure like this boy. Yes, life will be easy! Truly, I also try to help people who comes to me any kind of help, support and sometimes moral & emotional support makes the pain lesser. Its really worth reading. I think, this book is specially for those who lacks confidence.

This is a fabulous book and worth reading. I have personally read it a couple of times. A Fable about following one's dreams, this novel combines an atmosphere of medieval mysticism with the song of the desert. With this symbolic masterpiece, the author states that we should not avoid our destinies, and follow our dreams no matter how difficult or impossible it seems.

It takes you on a journey surrounding disappointment, agony, happiness, fulfillment, success and the ultimate purpose of creation to finally discover that "treasure lies where your heart belongs", and that the treasure was the journey itself, the discoveries he made, and the wisdom he acquired.

I always feared to follow my dream but after reading this book I really feel that following your dream will always payoffs. Dreams are part of our life and we always fear to follow them but if we get determine, so those dreams could become true and achievable. This is what Alchemist shows you. This book provides you the courage to follow your dreams.

I have read fewer books in my entire life but this I found best of them.

I loved this book because it can not only inspire someone to follow their dreams but also listen to their heart. And do not care what other people think of them. Sometimes we dont listen to our heart and things go wrong and we do not get enough time to mend it. When I was going through a bad days I saw this book and tried to keep myself busy all the time, I was reading this book at that time when I was going through a rough time in my life but you wont believe it this book lifted my spirits and inspired me to listen to my heart and follow my dreams. Now I'm focused on achieving it and won't let anything stop it. This book presents a simple fable, based on simple truths and places it in a highly unique situation. The book is about life's trails and tribulations. Discovering who you are, following your dreams and knowing where your destiny lies. Yes, I would recommend this book to others because it can motivate and inspire people to do well for themselves and the people around them. Along the way we need to learn how to trust our hearts, to read the world for signs of God, to listen to our dreams, to make the most of coincidence and luck, and to accept the subtle ways love transforms and improves the soul of the world. I really like this book and never forget the days I have been passing through. This book reminds me all those days of my life.

A retelling of a very old story that did not quite live up to its promise. A sweet little book, probably more appropriate for a 13-14 year old than an adult. Its a quick read...a diversion for a Saturday afternoon, perhaps.

This is a very good book.This is a very inspiring story about a shephard boy who follows his destiny and all of the obstacles he encounters along the way. At first when i read this book, i felt it a bit bored for few pages but didnt stop reading since heard that it is real nice book. So continued to read, after reading 3 to 4 pages i couldnt stop reading it. I received deep spiritual messages and peace from reading. The writing is simple and clear. If you know the famous Hollywood actor Will Smith. He even recommends this book. Search for "Will Smith on the Law of Attraction" on you tube to watch his review on this book.

The Alchemist is the tale of Santiago, a boy, who has a dream and the courage to follow it.The novel is about optimism.It is the kind of novel that tells you that everything is possible as long as you really want it to happen.

As the alchemist himself says, when he appears to Santiago in the form of an old king "when you really want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true". This is the core of the novels philosophy and a motif that echoes behind Coelhos writing all through "The Alchemist". And isnt it true that the whole of humankind desperately wants to believe the old king when he says that the greatest lie in the world is that at some point we lose the ability to control our lives, and become the pawns of fate. Perhaps this is the secret of Coelhos success: that he tells people what they want to hear, or rather that he tells them that what they wish for but never thought possible could even be probable.
