If you want a professional solution that offers you a lot more detail and better network management look elsewhere! This software will give you barebones network monitoring (not management), but it is pretty good at what it does and is fast as well. If you just want to know wheter a particular PC is running on your LAN this software is for you. This software will also tell you what services it is exposing to the LAN
1) Free
2) Lightweight, easy to use.
3) List of open / running ports: This point needs elaboration and is a bit technical. If you are hosting a website on your PC, the usual port that would be automatically assigned is port no 80 on your PC. Look @ LAN will not only tell you which computer on your LAN is hosting a website, but it will also tell your the type of server software it is using and will also launch your default browser to view that website.
4) Report generation at scheduled times.
