The good:
1) Good graphics (considering when it was released)
2) Fast gameplay.
3) Good Environmental effects
4) Capital ships have beam weapons, flak cannons, missle launchers and laser turrets.
5) Detailed damage system (you can specifically target the engines or weapon systems of enemies)
6) You can also issue detailed orders to your wingmen.
The bad:
1) An old game, though the graphics are good, dont exepect anything great.
A very old game (released in about 1998 - 1999 I think), but if you are a fan of dog-fighting with ships in space this will be a treat. This is just the demo which is available for free, the full version game won the title "Best game that nobody played" which is really sad, but it suits this game. It had great graphics (for that time) and introduced a unioque style of gameplay which still inspires many other such titles. The satisfaction of destroying something many times bigger than you is great. The beam weapons and the detailed damage system add a new diemension to gameplay.
