It was the second movie for varun sandesh after the Block buster movie of Happy Days by Shekar Kammula.

Balu (Varun Sandesh) is the son of loving parents (Prakash Raj & Jayasudha) who hails from Rajahmundry. His father Vishnumurthy gives him love and nothing else! He joins in a junior college where Swapna (Swetha Prasad), the daughter of a strict father (Ahuti Prasad) and an over-concerned mother (Rajitha) from Gajuwaka (Vishakhapatnam), joins too. Naturally, they fall in love. How did their love get to be known to their families? How did their families react? Does their love stand, or is it just infatuation?

This is a very very good movie.

This movie is a typical teenage comic-love caper. The cast is young and fresh, and the movie is set in a high school.

The comic sequences are the highlight of this movie, especially the sequences involving "Brahmanandam". If you are looking for 2-1/2hrs of light-hearted entertainment, then you are in for a treat.

The story revolves revolves around the theme of attraction and love, and how two teenagers try to understand and cope with their first love. Due to the resistance from the family, they decide to elope. But, last minute emergencies, put a spanner in their plans.

The music is very hummable, and the comedy sequences are hilarious, leaving you rolling on the floor through out the first half.

Kotta Bangaru Lokam us a award winning movie, it gets best awards. The story line of this movie is good. Varun sandesh acted very well in this movie. The songs and music are plus points for the movie. The heroine sweta basu prasad (Acted in makdee, iqbal as a child artist) plays a good role. All members have to watch the movie, the fighting scenes are good.
Jaya sudha and prakashraj played inspirable characters.Music durector done a great job all are singing these songs. Especially i like nijanga nenena and neevani nenani. Congratulations to the kotta bangarulokam team. The dialogs are un forgetful.
