Kapersky Anti-Virus 7.0 Review On my previous laptop,I had installed first Norton and then McAfee. Both were good in the sense that they did their job of warning me of any virus in the comp. However, I did find both the programs a tad slow which made me impatient at times! On my new IBM laptop I installed the Kapersky Anti-Virus 7.0 - and, wow, was I impressed!
First of all, it was the easiest anit-virus software Ive ever installed and also the quickest. I had also installed it keeping in mind that it does not require grandiose space on the hard drive (about 50MB is all it needs). Next, it is a user-friendly software and good font size interface, so I dont need to shift closer to the screen to peer at it. By the way, it is quite colourful too!.
Coming to the main purpose of installation: how good is it? My verdict: its simply awesome! I do a great deal of Internet surfing for my freelance writing assignments, so am logging on to a whole lot of sites that Im not sure are safe. No problem - the minut I log on to something remotely suspicious, my comps bodyguard will pop up and sternly tell me in black and white that it has stopped me from entering an unsafe site.
What about hackers? Well, when some devious person tries to attack, up pops the helpful Kapersky rectangle with a red bold title informing me of somebodys intrusion being blocked that persons IP is also clearly displayed.
Even when I tried to download some free software, a colourful Kapersky box jumped open to warn me not to allow this software to be loaded. So I quietly clicked on deny and the box closed. Honestly, sometimes I feel like a naughty student being admonished by the teacher for trying to do something Im not supposed to!
With such a busy anti-virus software, I doubt I will ever have need to use the System Restore aspect of the Kapersky program, as this is required only if the comp. gets infected.
I would definitely recommend this software to everybody!
