| | Gulati is one of the most popular and oldest restaurants of New Delhi. It is situated in Pandara Road one of the most popular locations of Delhi.
Gulati serves authentic Indian, Mughlai and Tandoori items. The most popular dessert in this restaurant is kulfi falooda. I have never tasted a falooda like this in any other place. It is really awesome.
We go to Gulati once in two months and I really like the taste of food and the ambiance. In the afternoons there is also buffet for Rs 300 per head. They really have a wide variety of salads, soups, starters, rice, rotis and different varieties of vegetarian and non vegetarian, curries and to end with 3-4 kind of desserts in the buffet.
The service is very good and sometimes one have to wait for about an hour to get a seat because of the crowd. This restaurant is very popular among foreigners as one can see lot of foreign tourists there whenever one visits the restaurant.
The price is little bit on the higher side. The price comes almost 1/2 of the price of a 5 star hotel that is the reason we visit Gulati only once in two months. But Iam a fan of this restaurant because of its unique and authentic taste. There is nothing wrong to feast yourself once in a while, but Iam pretty sure if one visits this restaurant once they will start going to Gulati repeatedly.
