The Sony Ericsson G900i a slim & stylish 3G Smartphone is a member of the Sony Ericsson G range. The G900i is a solid candy bar designed handset which is available in a choice of two coloured casing, an elegant looking dark red coloured casing and a contemporary styled dark brown coloured casing. The handset feels solid without feeling heavy as it weighs only ninety nine grams. Its dimensions are slim and compact when you consider this Smartphones built in features as it is only 13mm deep by 49mm wide by 106mm tall.
The Sony Ericsson G900i comes with a 2.4 Inch touch screen display which you can operate using your fingers, a stylus or a pointer. This finger friendly touch screen can display up to 262 thousand colours on a high resolution TFT screen. You can also input text using a stylus on the touch screen & the handwriting recognition feature will turn the handwritten text into the appropriate letter from the keypad. The user can also type out text using the keypad below the touch screen & navigation key.
A built in 5 megapixel camera allows you to capture high quality photos on your handset. The touch screen allows you to set the photo focus just moving your finger on the screen as the screen works as a view finder too. The camera feature on the Sony Ericsson G900i is fun and has auto focusing capabilities. 3x digital zoom option and the photo light brightens up darker environments and allows you to take a photo of a person without the glare of red eyes. You can send photos to a blog site to be viewed by friends & family or simply create a picture message which can be sent to your friends and relatives. The camera can record video footage as well as still photos & the stabiliser feature will ensure a smooth recording. You can view and stream these clippings to other compatible devices.
You can access the Internet browser with an Opera™ Internet browser & WAP 2.0 XHTML from the main menu and use the touch screen to control their surfing experience. The Smartphone supports RSS feeds to view the latest news and updates from a selection of Websites. The user can enjoy instant online chats which friend & colleagues who are online at the same time using the instant messaging service just like the way you chat online in the PC. A mobile email service allows you to enjoy sending & receiving emails directly for a fully mobile email experience. A multimedia picture messaging service allows aalows you to mail photos, text & sound in one message through compatible multimedia messaging contact or to an email address. The 3G Smartphone supports direct multimedia messaging allow you to take a photo then create a message straight away.
You can enjoy high quality sound & imaging on the G900i which can be enhanced using the Mega Bass™ music feature The media player supports all popular music & video format. You can download your favourite music by just pressing the button 3 times, it is that simple. The G900i supports MP3, AAC & polyphonic ringing tones and can be used as per your taste. An integrated FM radio complete with RDS support allows you to experience sound & information at the same time. A notes option on the Sony Ericsson G900i provides the user with a feature which allows the user to make notes on the touch screen using the stylus just like one would write notes on a paper notebook using a pen.
The handset also supports a document editing feature & a document reader. The G900i works on a tri band GSM network & UMTS 2100 network. The Smartphone comes with 160MB of built in memory & comes with memory stick micro™ M2™. The 3G technology provides you with an always online Internet connection, 3G video calling capabilities, high speed data transfers & multitasking capabilities. The multitasking capabilities allow you to remain on a call whilst transferring or downloading files.
The user can use the WLAN Wi-Fi connectivity for a high speed Internet connection in wireless hotspots, by using either a Bluetooth® wireless connection or a USB cable connection. The Bluetooth® technology allows the user to connect to another Bluetooth® device which is up to ten meters apart from the G900i 3G Smartphone.

This 99 grams phone has a Lithium Ion battery type, which provides talk time of 720 minutes and standby time of 380 hours. It comes with features like 256k colour TFT touchscreen display with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash and Image Stabilizer. It has added features like Tri band, 160MB inbuilt memory, Memory Stick Micro card slot, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPRS and USB connector. The mobile phone comes with a Music Player which supports MP3 and AAC music formats, FM Radio and is JAVA enabled. Picture editor/blogging, Handwriting recognition, Sticky Notes are the unique features of this mobile phone
