This product Philips-MCD290/98 is a Hi-Fi Audio System. It has got 700 watts Peak Music Power output. The higher the PMPO output the louder the music will be. Since this is a Philips product you can be sure of the performance part of it. The audio system has 2 speakers and a system is capable of playing single CDs.When the sound is heard, you will experience a 3-D effect. This product Philips-MCD290/98 is VCD MP3 and WMA disc compatible, and also has feature of CD recording. As the system comes with a remote control you would not have to go to the speaker to change programs etc. This set is capable of playing DVDs and Picture CDs as well. It comes with Dolby Digital Decoder, which gives surround sound effect with 2 speakers, but one can experience true surround sound with full fledge 5.1 channel speaker configuration. The LCD display panel on the audio system displays the status of your audio systems functions, and other such information. This system comes with 4 preset modes of equalizer patterns. Depending on the sort of music you are listening, you could use these preset modes to get the best out of your music system.
