About the Honeymoon Packages in Kerala by the Kerala Tourism Guide
2Nights and 3Days Backwaters, is a tour package by the Kerala Tourism guide offered to the Honeymooners. The cost of the tour package is Rs 12000 onwards and will change according to the season. The accommodation will be according to the Package you choose, which can be classified into Economy, Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe. One night will be at the hotel in Kumarakom and the 2nd night will be in the houseboat. Itinerary for Honeymoon Tour Package 2N and 3D Backwaters
Day 1 - Cochin to Kumarakom By Car 75 kilometers / 2 hours
As soon as you reach Kochi, either at the airport or at the railway station, you will be picked up as per your prior information by their representative. You will be taken to Kumarakom through a picturesque drive and checked into a hotel. Evening is leisure time and the night stay will be at the hotel at Kumarakom.
Day 2 - Kumarakom Houseboat
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards the boat jetty at the backwaters at Kumarakom. Check in around 12 noon and the boarding place will be Kumarakom / Alappuzha. As soon as you get the welcome drink, the cruise will start through the beautiful canals, rivers and the backwaters of the Vembanad Lake.
You can see paddy fields, coconut lagoons and the resorts in the area. You can have typical Kerala vegetarian / Non vegetarian lunch at 2.30 pm. You will pass through Pathiramanal Islands and then to C Block, R Block and the Rajapuram area. In between Tea and snacks will be served.
After 6 pm the haouseboat will be anchored and stay there through out the night. You can mix and mingle with the villagers, have dinner and then stay the night in the AC bedroom of the houseboat. . After breakfast in the morning the cruise starts again back to Kumarakom and drop you at the boat jetty.
Day 3 - Kumarakom to Cochin
After breakfast you will be taken to Cochin from Kumarakom. You can see Marine Drive, Chinese fishing nets, Dutch Palace, St. Francis church, Jewish Synagogue and Thripunithura Palace and later get dropped at either the airport or the railway station as according to your other plans
The Tour package includes
Pick up and drop from the airport / railway station
Accommodation for the couple that is Room with breakfast plus all the meals in the houseboat
A cab for the entire trip, toll and parking, flower decoration at the houseboat plus candle light dinner at the houseboat and wedding cake.
The Tour package does not include
Expenses of personal nature or any other item not included in the package are extra and have to be paid for.
Guide and Entrance fees , air fare and train-fare, service tax extra if bill is required to claim LTA, Lunch and dinner at hotel and the Christmas eve and the new years eve dinner supplement extra.

Rate is valid for the couple along with meal plan CP - Breakfast
Upgrade to AC car per day will be extra and in the houseboat AC will be from 8 pm to 6 am.

You have to give your arrival and departure Date and Month as per your plans and they will send you the confirmation by mail. For confirmation of your tour package they require a token advance and you can pay as mentioned below. Balance payment should be made on arrival. You can remit the Advance amount for your tour packages through the Bank accounts of Shell Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd.(Branch Kadavanthra) Cochin, Kerala, India. ICICI Bank a/c no 027705002380. You can use one of the three methods mentioned below.
1) Please remit the payment by cash in any of our bank accounts and sms the payment details to 9947001900.
2) Please transfer funds online to any of our bank account to ICICI bank and SMS the payment details to 9947001900
3) Please deposit your cheques in your local ICICI Bank a/c no 027705002380
In order to identify your payment with their Bank statement, please Fax the copy of the Pay slip for the deposited Amount to the authorities at the below mentioned address.
