How to Reach Valparai in Tamil Nadu
Valparai is at about 64 kilometers from Pollachi and is a beautiful experiance by itself which is placed enroute to the way to the Anamalai Tiger Reserve, also called as the Indira Gandhi National Park. From Valparai you can also visit Aliyar, Sholayar and Nirar dams.
From Pollachi the route by road will be through Aliyar dam, Attakatty, Rottikadai and then Valparai. Buses are available from Coimbatore and Pollachi as well as the nearby Palakkad in Kerala, Palani etc.
if you are travelling by flight the nearest airport is Coimbatore and is connected with regular flights from Chennai, Cochin and Bangalore.
If you are travelling by rail the nearest station is Pollachi but you can get connection trains only from Coimbatore. You have to reach either Coimbatore or palakkad to get trains to Pollachi.
