Idukki Arch Dam is the first Dam in the whole of Asia and is constructed across the Kuravan and Kurathi Hills. Idukki wild life Sanctuary is located there and you can find Elephant, Sambar Deer, Black Bulbul, Wild Dog, Bison, Jungle Cat, Woodpecker, King Fisher etc.
