 MTDC Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation Resort (MTDC Resort) is located in Ganapatipule in the state of Maharashtra.
This MTDC resort is on the side of the hill facing the sea. There are 84 blocks which have self contained rooms, 12 blocks of non ac deluxe rooms as well as Konkani style Bamboo huts and tents.
Accommodation facilities at the MTDC Beach resort
Guests can choose from standard rooms, deluxe rooms, sea view cottages and Konkani huts. All rooms are sea facing and A/c or non A/c rooms are available. Amenities at the resort include a health club and a restaurant.
There are beach tents which come complete with beach umbrellas sit in the beach, among the casuarina groves. The lagoon which is near the resort, is a hot spot and favourite for the tourists and travellers, for water sports arranged by the MTDC Water Sports Complex. This complex will be closed between Jun-Oct.
Water Sports range from row boats, water scooters, motor boats, aero boats, like speed boats and pedal boats as well
The resort's beach side restaurant serves regional cuisine. If you like to have other cuisines you will have to get out on the beach and look outside, but it may not be that tasty or delicious.
