Accomodation at Mountain Resort is provided in round cottages facing the vast Himalayan range. Those wanting an antique touch can opt for the bungalow (The main house). All the rooms in the bungalow and the cottages at Mountain Resort are furnished double rooms and each room has an attached bath cum toilet. There is 24 hour running water in the bath rooms. Each bathroom has a geyser for hot water facility.
If you ask for Samosas, it won't be ready in three minutes flat. Ours is no Five star hotel hundreds of pre-prepared Samosas piled on in the deep freeze. But Divan Singh, our Maharaj and Chef rolled into one will pamper your palate. From the Gujrati Shreekhand Dhokhla and Poran Poli to the South Indian Idli Dosa, Punjabi as well as Continental, he has an exotic all vegetarian Menu. You can even make your special “farmaish" (only don't blame us if your weighing scale goes haywire). Jain food is also served in the Resort.
Conference Facilities
Our conference hall can accomodate upto fifty people. The interiors are all wooden which matches with the environment.We also provide all the facilities for conferences like projectors, screens etc. For more on conference, please write to us or mail us.
Location
Mountain Resort is situated at an altitude of 2000 meters (6600ft.) above sea level. It is 22kms. by motor road, north of Almora town. All types of vehicles including buses, cars and jeeps can easily come right up to the Resort.

My friend visited last month and shared his experience with me saying that the best part is watching the mountains from the vantage point , if you are lucky and having pakore with tea during the sunset!! They experience very warm and cordial staff and food is good for vegetarians because non veg is not allowed inside the sanctuary as I was told. I wonder if that holds true for all resorts inside sanctuaries. Well, the place is good and hope I will too go n near future and stay there. |
