 Anthraper Gardens Homestay is a diamond graded homestay, located with waterfront onthe three sides of a very quiet and beautiful place with a spacious and a well manicured garden. Anthraper gardens is located in a secluded area away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. You can unwind and relax in the place which was established by chevalier ACM Anthraper, the grandfather of the present generation of Anthrapers.
Anthraper Gardens Homestay was the dream of the late Alexander Anthraper who was the last heir to the family estate. Omana Thomas his sister looks after the place and are assisted by her other sisters on behalf of the present heir Kilash Anthraper.
About the accommodation facilities in the Anthraper Gardens Homestay
Anthraper gardens is a 75 year old beautiful heritage home in Cherthala at bout 45 minutes drive from Cochin and 30 minutes from Alappuzha. The Anthraper gardens Homestay is surrounded on three sides by water, with a private boat jetty and a beautiful garden.
There are 2 AC and 2 Non AC rooms with twin beds and attached bathrooms with hot and cold water facilities. AC rooms have a separate dressing rooms too.
Extra bed is available on request. All rooms have views of the backwaters ad are decorated with antique style.
There are other facilities also available namely, a 6000 sq ft garden with hammock and shuttle court, Sand Jogging Track, TV Lounge, Indoor Games, Dining Area, Small Kitchenette with Refrigerator and Coffee & Tea making facility.
Canoe ride, Yoga, Ayurvedic Massage, Swimming pool arrangements in two nearby resorts., Beach trips, Temple and Church visits, Cooking demonstrations, Fishing(Fishing pole only, no fishing rods) and Visit to local factories and places of interest are also available and can be arranged at request but there will be extra charges.
