The Mana (home) is located at about 40 kilometers from the Palakkad town, in a village called Vellinezhi. O.N.Damodaran, a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, aged 62 years with his wife P.Sreedevi aged 55 years are the hosts at this Homestay.
Food and Accomodation at the Olappamanna Mana
Only vegetarian food will be served at this Olappamanna Mana. Alcohol or other intoxicating drinks as well as Non vegetarian food are not allowed here. Only fresh fruits and vegetables, boiled and filtered water / mineral water will be supplied.
There are two options available at the Olappamanna ManaYou can visit the Mana and the surroundings, have either lunch or dinner, watch entertainment at extra cost and leave for your own lodgings.
As the second option you can stay there. There are 3 rooms, one double, one family and a suite like large room. Fully Automatic Washing Machine and Electric Iron for Pressing of Cloths, available.
Kathakali orientation course - One weeks Kathakali orientation cource which will give a basic idea about Kathakali, Mudra, different characters in Kathakali etc., If required stage performance of Kathakali can be organized along with the orientation course.
Cooking Classes - For those who are interested, cooking classes for Pure Vegetarian Food will be provided.
