Inbuilt Answering Machine How it works?
A telephone answering machine could be of immense use in a fax machine. When the system is set on an absence mode, depending upon the call, the fax machine automatically switches between the answering machine or fax mode. How it works?

After both the machines have been set on the polling mode (by pressing the polling button), your machine calls the remote fax machines fax and then prints it out.

This feature is common in Fax machines that helps physically straighten the curling effect of thermal paper.
How it works?
Thermal Fax machines need fax rolls (chemically treated paper obtained in the form of rolls) as printing material. The printed paper could be quite difficult to read as it curls. Some fax machines come with an anti curling system comprising of two rollers placed in a particular position to straighten (or reduce the curl on ) the paper after it has been printed on. Plain paper fax machines do not use this feature as the paper does not curl prior to (or after) the printing process.

Anti-Junk Function How it works?
