The Byke – A Hotel Retreat is a Heritage property turned into a hotel. It is one of the first dwellings of Matheran. The Property was built in the year 1854, by Hugh Malet. Hugh Malet was the then Collector of Thane.
This heritage property stands still majestically in a sprawling 7 acres of greenery. The Byke is the first Luxury Hotel of Matheran.
