Vagamon Heights is situated in the Idukki Dstrict on the new hill highway connecting Cochin, Thekkady and Kodaikanal. Kumarakom, Thekkady, Munnar and Kodaikanal are the other major touristions nearby Vagamon and are easily accessible from Vagamon.
Accommodation Facilities at Vagamon Heights
The wind shadows guest house can accommodate two families and has a convertible living room upstairs for two persons. Since all the services are easily reachable this will be suited for the ones who travel with family and kids.
The Woodpecker is a tree top house which will be good for the young couple and the honeymooners. The tree house is built on 4 mammoth trees, it is very safe and is aesthetically provided with wooden poanelling . The house has built in toilets and also a lower deck to relax. If you do not want room heting, sleeping bags are provided.
The Woodside is a tastfully developed villa, well furnished and can accommodate two families with kids.The wood side is placed closed to the dense forest on the west of the Vagamon Heights. The service is round the clock even though wood side is placed half a kilometer away from the main area.
The Four gables is situated at about a kilometers and a half from the main area and it is designed to hold touring youngsters or students. The maximum number it can hold is 15. The pick up and drop can be done by horse drawn carriage or on the estate jeep and there is no room service. They have to come to the Food and beverages facility at the resort.
Tented Accommodation You can have varieties of tents if you are daring and boisterous, all are well protected tents which can be used in all weathers,. They are of various sizes so as to be suitable for one person to 12 persons . The location is the camp clearing in a shroud of thick cover. They have well kept toilets and wash rooms with commodes but hot water is not provided. For night you can have lighting only through electric carry lanterns. Plastic disposables are not allowed.
