Additional featuresThe film starts with RajniKant(Sivaji) in the jail. Then the movie goes into the flashback . Sivaji is a software professional. He returns from US with one aim, to give free education to all since he believes only education can cure poverty for all. Sivaji wishes to marry a tamil girl who keeps the tamil culture. He and his mama(Vivek) is searching for a girl in temples.... and at last they sees Shreya. However, Rajni's parents are against that marriage but after some incidents they agree to the same. when things looked ok, Shriya refuses to marry Sivaji. The reason is she believes astrology and by astrology, if she married Rajni, he would die. Our hero somehow convincing and finally marrying Shriya.
Meanwhile, people are jealous of Sivaji, especially his biggest rival Suman. Suman plays a business tycoon who feels threatened by Shivaji's charity plans. He tries to ruin Sivaji and his succeeds. In the end he gives him a rupee coin asking Sivaji to beg to survive. Sivaji is tossing the coin and it comes out as head(the way of the Lion) and he decides he will fight it out like a Lion does . Sivaji now lands up in jail, from where the movie started.
The second half of the movie is about Rajni taking revenge on all the corrupt and mighty. He realizes the amount of black money t all over Tamil Nadu is huge. He lootes all black money of almost all politicians and converts them to white money and starts his work . Sure enough he becomes a wealthy man and finally after some fighting and chases with CBI Rajni is able to defeat Suman.

This is a commercial movie.It has a good comedy and story unbeleivable story.They have spend lots of money for sets.Shreya is too glamorous and the songs are good.Viveks comedy is good.Can watch once. |

Sivaji another block buster from the great creative director shankar. All his movies were definitely with a excellent message. I watched all movies all are superb. Iam the fan of shankar sir from the release of gentle man. Rajani kanth done a good character in this film, his effort is nice.I like the message and agree with study is for all. Shriya is beautiful heroine and i like her dance and acting. The comedy is super.

The way Love shown in this film is not nice, shreya is not in love with rajni till she sees his home, wealth and his economic position, But after seeing his economic position she agrees at once. Its not fair to show love in this manner. The message conveyed through this film is very good, it talks about the black money, which is the first enemy of Development of Indian Economy, Shivajis acting is very nice. Directors hard work is reflected throughout the film. |
