    Approved Today.

    Read this:

    I followed the steps mentioned there. My account was approved just now.

    Things to note however are:

    1) I am a gold member (Meaning: I have made reasonable amount of contributions to this site.)
    2) I have been a member of this site for more than 6 months. (Cant say an "active member", but a member nonetheless).
    3) I personally feel I look good in the photo. (comment/contradict me on this one if you wish).
    4) I had applied 4 times before.

    Good to know that your adsense is approved. It is been approved here in IRC also and you can expect a very good amount of adsense earning from IRC for your posts.
